The Bell Bash is a 3-day annual beer and music festival hosted over the bank holiday weekend in August. The event is run entirely for charity and has raised many thousands of pounds for the charity MEDICS.

Over the course of the weekend we receive visitors from all over the county and some from further a field. Some of the people that come to enjoy the beer and music festival camp in the ample garden space. (contact us for more information on camping over that weekend) We always have a number of fantastic bands playing a wide variety of music, and although the event is free for all customers, we do encourage a donation towards the MEDICS.

MEDICS is an Accident and Emergency Doctor Service - the Mid-Essex Doctors Immediate Care Scheme - which operates under the nationwide BASICS organisation (British Association for Immediate Care).MEDICS Doctors are called to provide emergency medical intervention at road traffic accidents,
 airport emergencies, agricultural accidents, and other serious accidents.
MEDICS relies entirely on the support of local people and businesses - and the organisation is assisted by a large group of volunteer staff.
